Tyrannosaurus Red Spaghetti Sauce

A hearty, rich aromatic flavor-blend, perfected by Carlson Vineyards
Tyrannosaurus Red Wine and patient, slow cooking.
4 medium-size onions, chopped
4 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1 cup chopped celery tops
1/4 lb. chopped mushrooms
1 tsp. rosemary
2 tsp. salt
1 lb. Italian sausage, sliced
1 (1 lb. 4 oz.) can tomatoes
1/4 cup olive oil and 1/4 cup butter
1/2 cup chopped fresh parsley
1 green pepper, finely chopped
1 tsp. basil
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 lb. ground beef (lean)
1 lb. fresh ground pork
2 (6 oz.) cans tomato paste
2 cups Carlson vineyards Tyrannosaurus Red Wine
Sauté onion in olive oil and butter until golden. Add garlic
and sauté 2 minutes more. Add parsley, celery
tops, green pepper, mushrooms and seasonings; sauté well,
stirring often.
Brown meat in large heavy pan. Add sauteed veggies and mix well.
Add tomatoes, tomato paste and wine.
Stir until well mixed. Bring to boil; lower heat and simmer 3 hours.
Serve over spaghetti. Freezes well! Serves 8 - 10.
